According to legend, a 7th century monk made bread from flour, water, and salt no eggs or milk allowed during Lent , formed it into the shape of a common prayer pose of the day — hands on opposite shoulders! Did you know that the 40 days of Lent represents the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness after his baptism? The 40 days begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday. It is simply to let people know that we see their struggles, and they are not alone. God is with them! Christ is risen indeed! Multi-campus Crossroads Church did a drive-in service at its Lakeville campus. People in each vehicle received a sterilized bulletin and pre-packaged elements as they arrived.
Paul and Deb Marzahn led worship from a stage outside the church building as snow swirled around them, and people could choose to simply listen through the church sound system from inside their vehicles, hear the service broadcast on an FM radio station, or stream from YouTube or Facebook either from devices inside their vehicles or at home.
In total, people gathered in vehicles in the parking lot, and more than devices streamed worship. Good Friday is the day on which Christians mark the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary with special services of worship.

Easter is the culmination of the Passion of Chris t. We believe that the resurrection of Jesus, which Easter celebrates, is the foundation of our faith, that God has given Christians "a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" and, that through faith in the working of God, we are spiritually resurrected with Jesus so that we may walk in a new way of life.
